This is my grandmother Maria Guadalupe Salas, of the many family portraits i created in 2011. I started this series after doing some family research and looking through my mom's photo albums, scouring them for all the coolest photos of my family. I have a lot of good memories of her, she was the only grandparent alive when I was born and was a big part of my youth. She is the daughter of Manuel Salas and Matilde Wvias. She was born in Portezuelo, Jalisco in 1914 and passed in San Diego 1990. To date she has 9 grand children, 10 great grand children and about 13 great great grand children...and one great great great grand child.
