Ojo Indigena (2012)

$27.50

Jesus Barraza
20 x 26
2-color, Screen print, Made in Oakland, 2012

This poster was inspired by Cafeta Cuba's song 'Flores De Color De La Mentira" that was on the Juntos Por Chiapas album. It inspired me to imagine a more just world in which Indigenous people have the right to exist on their ancestral lands.

En la tierra que hay detras de mis ojos
un caudillo vive en pie de lucha
defendiendo pueblos enteros
de ideas mudas
asecinadas por ser diferentes
a las de otros
