Coatlicue es La Diosa de la Tierra. She has taken care of us since time immemorial. Now it is our turn to stand up and protect her. Coatlicue lives in the land, the water, the food we eat, and the histories that continue to shape us. She takes care of us and looks to us for protection at this moment.

This image is a reminder that defending the earth means defending life. It means standing with Indigenous communities protecting their territories, fighting contamination and extraction and protecting land, water, and air for future generations.
