Marsha P. Johnson didn’t ask for permission—she made space for herself and others, unapologetically embodying the fierce power of resistance, love, and survival. A Black trans woman in New York City, she helped spark the Stonewall Uprising and became a symbol of the struggle for trans and Black liberation. Marsha’s fight was never just about protest—it was about joy, community, and the unapologetic right to exist in a world that tried to erase her. She was a badass queen, a fierce warrior, and a reminder that our power lies in embracing our truth and fighting for the visibility and dignity of all marginalized people.
