One Land One people! I first heard this saying in the mid 1990 as I became involved in Bay Area organizing with STEP and Olin. Hearing this simple statement helped me understand that as Indigenous people of Turtle Island we are many nations but have so much in common. I feel this spirit of resistance binds us as Indigenous people, our survival through the generations has been resisting settler colonialism and always fighting to keep our ways.
