This poster lifts up a few stanzas from the poem Pensamiento Serpentino by Luis Valdez the Chicano playwright and founder of El Teatro Campesino. These stanzas were used as a meditation and commitment in the Raza Studies classes in Tucson Unified School District. I created this poster to resist this kind of suppression and racism as well as attempt to popularize the worldview and values that the stanzas celebrate.
